How wonderful! You mentioned in a prior post that this will probably be the last game you make, which is very sad, but I'm glad you're choosing to go out on this one!
Hi John, was that a post on this blog? I don't have plans to retire. It's not really an option for me I'm afraid. I think I may have said something along the lines of, after the fire happened, and the unexpected deaths in my family, I realized that we simply never know what's around the corner. Reflecting on this made me look inside and ask myself, if I could make only one more thing, what would it be? What would I want most to say? And I felt an imperative to not wait. 'Do it now', and that's what Dancing with Ghosts is. It's not that I plan to stop making games, more like... one simply never knows, so figure out what matters most and make sure you do it now. Nevertheless, I appreciate the sentiment of your comment. Thanks.
So happy for you, Greg! I'm so grateful the Kickstarter worked out. I was worried it wouldn't, but apparently, over the last night, someone or some people sent like $10k! My prayers have been answered! I'll really be looking forward to the further development of the game and the rewards we'll be getting!
Hi Christina! Me too!! What a relief right? We've had a number of big backers on this campaign so far. This came as a big surprise for me too. I woke up this morning to a really wonderful surprise. I am really touched that people have dug so deep to support this game and to support something so important to me. There is still a lot of work to do though. The game is only about half done. I'm excited to refocus my attention on building the game, once the Kickstarter is done, and I'm excited to get these awesome rewards out to you and the others. They all turned out so much better than I was expecting.

Ah! I'm glad that I was mistaken!
